Abstract

TEC (Total Electron Content) is an important parameter for weather prediction. It stands for plasma status and dynamic in ionosphere. In this paper, we present the theoretical basis and algorithms which allow for the extraction TEC from GPS measurements. The mean deviation between TEC values from our algorithm and IGS’s TEC values at some IGS stations is about 4-10TECU.
