Abstract

Urbanization and urban development are important driving forces for socio-economic development in many localities; The urban economy has grown at a high rate, contributing about 70% of the country's GDP. However, the urbanization and urban planning process in recent years still has many limitations and shortcomings, which still need to meet the requirements of reality. Therefore, in the coming time, urban planning needs to be one step ahead, have a long-term vision and create resources for development; it is necessary to renew thinking, theory and methods of urban planning; It is necessary to continue researching and perfecting policies and laws with outstanding breakthroughs for urban development. This article intensively analyzes the current situation and proposes some solutions to improve the quality of urban planning in the coming time in Tuyen Quang province. The approach in this study is holistic, multi-sectoral, multi-sectoral, top-down, bottom-up and sustainable in order to contribute to the realization of the target that by 2050, the urbanization rate in Tuyen Quang will reach over 50%.
