Abstract

For purpose of GPS levelling, geoid models are used for transformation from ellipsoid height to orthometric height. Accuracy of the Geoid models are significant in GPS levelling. Based on the relation between ellipsoid height, levelling height and geoid undulation it is posible to evaluate the accuracy of Geoid models. In this paper, the accuracy EGM96 and EGM2008 Geoid models of Northem Area in Viet Nam were assesed.
