Abstract

This paper introduces the wavelets approach applied to the interpolation of height anomalies. It can be used to compute interpolated values for arbitrary positions from input values with the arbitrary (spatial) distribution. Following the theoretical fundamental, two simulations using model EGM 2008 for a global grid and local irregular positions are presented to illustrate and authenticate the correct work of this method
