Abstract

The paper presents the experimentation with GPS-levelling based on the actual data in the hill-mountain south region of Midlle Vietnam. The height anomalies obtained at the fixed points with both GPS and levelling measurements were interpolated to the considered points about 60 km apart by use of the spline function through EGM-2008 derived gravimetric height anomaly values. In result there were received for the considered points the normal heights with an error no more than 10√s (mm). This may be considered as one more contribution to confirming the real possibility of carring out GPS-levelling with an accuracy of 3-rd order spirit levelling in Vietnam at present time.
