Abstract
The weighted mean temperature of the atmosphere (Tm) is a particularly important and decisive factor in the calculation results of precipitable water vapor (PWV) from GNSS measurement data. This paper presents the theoretical basis and formulas for calculating the weighted mean temperature of the atmosphere (Tm) in Vietnam. The measured data at 6 radiosondes stations and ground-meteorological data in January of 2022 are used in evaluating the accuracy of the established formulas, the evaluated results have shown that the new formula (11) has the smallest mean square error. This is also the formula chosen to apply the weighted mean temperature of the atmosphere (Tm) in Vietnam.
